Clark the Mountain Beaver Author ~ Karen B. Shea
Karen B. Shea was raised in a rural area west of Chicago, IL. She spent her youth exploring its endless open prairies and muddy marshes. It was here the natural world awakened her spirit and piqued her curiosity.
As she grew older, Karen spent summers at her family’s cabin in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where her love for nature continued to grow. With its majestic mountains, wild rivers and abundant wildlife, she became even more committed in protecting the natural world around her. Part of that commitment is reflected in her desire to teach and inspire others about the wonders of nature through her books.
Today, Karen B. Shea lives in beautiful Washington State just outside Seattle with her family and an assortment of wild critters that frequent her yard.
Clark the Mountain Beaver and His Big Advenutre! is Karen B. Shea’s first published children’s book.
